JEFF
BIEGEL, B.Sc., P.Ag.
Jeff was raised on a mixed grain and cattle farm outside of Fairview,
Alberta. In 1983 he entered the University of Alberta and graduated
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture in 1988. While
at the University Jeff specialized in Range and Pasture Management
with a minor in Soils.
Immediately upon graduating Jeff accepted a position with Forestry,
Lands and Wildlife as a Land Resource Agrologist in High Prairie,
Alberta. Jeff gained valuable experience dealing with the farm sector
and the oilfield while in this position. In 1992 Jeff accepted a
position with Alberta Environment as a Conservation and Reclamation
Inspector in Grande Prairie, Alberta. His duties in this position
involved being responsible for the issuance of Reclamation Certificates
of oil and gas sites in the Northwestern region of Alberta.
In 1993, Jeff was appointed by the Government as a representative
of the northwest area of Alberta for the development of the Alberta
Reclamation Criteria for Wellsites and Associated Facilities. Jeff
has gone on to play an active role in teaching the Wellsite Criteria
throughout Western Canada.
On February 14, 1994, after six years service with the Government
of Alberta, Jeff resigned his position and joined forces with his
brother, Brent, in the development of SHARP Environmental Ltd.
Jeff's experience includes excellent agronomic, communication and
management skills. He places a high priority on continued education,
family and the community. In addition to his degree, Jeff has numerous
certificates and licenses.
